HEAD COACH | NICOLE DAME

 

Nicole Dame | Head Coach

Coach Nicole Dame, originally from San Antonio, TX, most recently served as an assistant coach of the Concordia Texas softball team.

In her five years with the Tornados, CTX advanced to the ASC Tournament twice, including an appearance in the ASC Tournament semifinals in 2018 for the first time since 2000.

Prior to coming to Concordia, Dame was the head coach at Walker High School in Louisiana from 2014-15. In her two seasons, Dame led Walker to back-to-back bi-district championships and coached 34 NFCA academic all-Americans as well as one NFCA all-American.

From 2012-2014, Dame was the head softball coach at Runnels High School in Baton Rouge, La. In her two years, she won back-to-back district titles and was named the district coach of the year in both of her seasons at Runnels.

Out of college, Dame moved to Baton Rouge, La., where she became as an assistant coach for the nationally ranked St. Amant Gators. In the 2010 season, the Gators finished the season with 24 wins and only 3 losses and along with a district championship were bi-district champions and regional finalists. The 2011 season continued on with over 20 wins and a trip to the state quarterfinals.

Dame also spent two seasons coaching select with the Louisiana 007’S where they captured the USSSA 12U World Series title in 2011. Additionally, Dame spent three seasons with the Louisiana Patriots where they were able to take the 2012 AFA 14U national title, 2013 NSA 14U title, and a 4th place finish at the 2014 triple crown nationals.

A graduate of Southside High School in San Antonio, Texas where she was a 4 sport letterman in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track, Dame achieved her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance as well as History, from the University of Texas in Austin and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
